Encounter of Words, one of the oldest literary events in this area, has for many years demonstrated a love of words and a commitment to art. Fifty years ago, a group of written word enthusiasts started the Meeting of Poetry Recitation in Poznanovac. The Encounter of Words is a special kind of love for organizers, participants and locals to which they always return. This is evident in the tradition refurbished with fresh ideas, bringing together important writers, musicians, painters and actors, thus uniting different artistic segments and creating an oasis of a different world – the one in which we dwell daily.
