On the steep hill called “Magdalena”, guarding the town like its powerful protector, the chapel of St. Mary Magdalene, the patroness of the town, was built. It was built with the help of the legacy of Gustav and Ivana Ožegović, the owners of the Klokovec castle, who were buried in the extended left part of the chapel. The chapel has a late Baroque appearance, and the altar is neo-Gothic with a Baroque statue of St. Helena.

Today, the chapel is an oasis of peace and a natural lookout point for many visitors. On its southern side there is a beautiful view of the valleys all the way to Medvednica, and on the western side, near the chapel, is the Mausoleum of Jakob Badl, which offers a view of Krapinske Toplice. The macadam road to the east offers picturesque views through vineyards and numerous Zagorje cellars.
